Annie!

Hey Friends! Life this past week has been very busy and exciting! My sister Annie arrived on Sunday and we have been having a great week so far. Her jet lag hasn't been that bad, though she is napping at the moment (it is 11:36 am). We have gone to a few museums, gone out to coffee a lot and have been doing WAY too many crossword puzzles. We are SO good at them, though. One night we went out to eat at Adolf Wagner's (a traditional German restaurant here in Frankfurt) which was great! Annie had some schnitzel along with Chris and I but Colin managed to get the most disgusting thing on the menu (liverwurst and blood wurst) and royally gross Annie out and turn her off to the majority of German food. But what she did try was the famous Frankfurt Apfelwein, which is sooooo good. Last night we tried another famous Apfelwein restaurant called Zum Gemalten Haus which is one of my favorites. You order one big jug of Apfelwein and then share it between a bunch of people. Always a good time. Afterwards we went to my favorite Beirstube around the corner from me called Mogks Bierstubbe. It is where all the old locals hang out and have beers on week days. Trashy, yet amazing.

And of course doing crosswords and just being weird around Frankfurt enjoying each others presence. It is so great to have Annie here and we are having so much fun together. Stay tuned for more posts to come telling what other adventures we have done.
